NDL CONTRIBUTION TO EFFICIENT AND SAFER BLUE ECONOMY: DOCKING OF MV STARK AND TMC EVOLUTION

As the Hub of Naval Engineering in Africa, the Naval Dockyard is constantly contributing to promoting safety and efficiency of shipping and maritime related activities in Nigeria and beyond its shores. Part of the notable contributions are in the areas of providing quality, timely and cost-efficient docking and ship repairs of Naval and Merchant vessels. Particularly, the NDL simultaneously docked MV STARK and TMC EVOLUTION in its 10,000Ton Main Graving Dock for preservative and restorative repairs on bow thrusters, hull and Azimuth. Assuredly, the vessels would be restored to their designed efficiency by our team of experienced and skillful technical staff under a visionary and dynamic Management, ensuring the seaworthiness of the vessels towards promoting trade, commerce and investment in Nigeria’s Blue Economy. The NDL, therefore stands proud as one of the leading players and fully integrated facility for ship construction and repair in the Continent and the globe.
